I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our existing mature products, optimizing protective performance and key components. They are 100% self-developed, featuring compact structure, small size, aesthetic appearance, and stable and reliable performance. Their excellent protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1: General Requirements for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Environments), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2: Explosion-proof Types "d" for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Environments), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver clockwise towards the adjustment shaft, and continue rotating until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" position travel has been initially adjusted.

Now, turn it on electrically a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Opening Direction Adjustment: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate and the micro-switch activates. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustments for the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
