The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products developed by our company, which are improved and optimized based on our mature products. The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivatives can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, making it an essential driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1: General Requirements for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2: Explosion-Proof Type "d" for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the open direction torque is larger than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" position travel is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically open it a few turns, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is properly adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
