I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations on our mature products. The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres Part 1: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres Part 2: Explosion-Proof "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the opening and closing direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load and no-medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be tightly sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam presses down on the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, turn the switch a few times electrically and then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust according to the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the valve is properly adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly several times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and stroke.
