Three: Adjust

Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.

Torque control mechanism adjustment:

Firstly, adjust the closing torque.

(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.

(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.

(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure or temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened.

2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:

(1) Close the valve manually.

(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.

(3) Rotate the "Off" position with a screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, and turn until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust according to the aforementioned procedure.

(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is properly adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear for the adjustment of the opening stroke to be complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.

3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:

Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
