Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be closed tightly, you should appropriately increase the torque value to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Traveler Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" position is complete.
(4)
At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then shut it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
