Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, developed and improved upon our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, aesthetically pleasing appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series products are used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately operate according to control commands and are an essential driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the torque for the open direction is greater than that for the close direction.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be closed tightly, increase the torque value appropriately, aiming for both tight closure and ease of opening.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the initial OFF travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear shift and stroke.
