Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has improved and refined the structure based on our mature existing products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They are entirely self-developed and feature a compact structure, small size, aesthetically pleasing appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switch type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and is explosion-proof, conforming to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operational characteristics; generally, the opening torque is larger than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thus disengaging the driving sprocket from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "OFF" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn the switch a few rotations electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the direction is adjusted in the closed position, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
