I: Overview
The DZW series valve electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our mature products, optimizing the protection performance and key components. They are completely self-developed and feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall on/off type, and overall adjustment type.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products are also applicable to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for achieving remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
Manually close the valve completely.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position with a screwdriver around the adjustment shaft, continue turning in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring pressure plate, stopping the microswitch action. The "Off" position travel is then initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically for a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Valve Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke adjustment is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled at around 90%.
