The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's new generation products, which are improved and refined based on our mature existing products. They feature compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a high protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type) and has explosion-proof performance that complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the torque for the open direction is greater than the torque for the close direction.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened easily.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby disengaging the driving sprocket from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position with a screwdriver around the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustability of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
