Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, developed and improved upon our mature products with a refined structure. They feature optimized protection performance and critical components, offering compact design, small size, attractive appearance, and stable, reliable performance. The high protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, its derived products can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed properly, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the push rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.
(4)
At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then shut it off, and check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, you can adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the closing direction adjustment is complete, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disconnect the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate and the micro-switch operates. After that, engage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. Once the stroke control mechanism is adjusted, it can be operated repeatedly several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled at about 90%.
3. Adjustable opening degree indicator adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
