I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and refined based on our mature products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They are completely self-developed, featuring compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall on/off type, and overall regulating type.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves) and the explosion-proof performance complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, while in motion, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction based on the valve's working characteristics; generally, the open direction torque is larger than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the valve is properly adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve opening is controlled at about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear and stroke.
