VQ47F-16C-DN40 Electric V Ball ValveIntroduction to Structural Features:
Electric V-ball Valve Development Evolution and Working Principle
The electric V-ball valve evolves from a stop valve. It has the same 90-degree rotation to lift, but the difference is that the plug body is spherical, with a circular through-hole or passage aligned with its axis. The ratio of the spherical surface to the passage opening should be such that when the ball rotates 90 degrees, the entire inlet and outlet should present a spherical surface, thereby cutting off the flow.

The electric V-ball valve can be tightly closed with just a 90-degree air rotation and a minimal torque. The perfectly equal valve body cavity provides a low-resistance, straight-through flow path for the medium. While traditionally considered suitable for direct on/off applications, recent advancements have designed ball valves to serve as throttling and flow control devices. The main features of the ball valve are its compact structure, ease of operation and maintenance, suitability for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and also for harsh working conditions such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, ethylene, etc. The valve body can be either integral or assembled.

Real Function of Electric V-Type Ball Valve
The working principle of the electric V-ball valve relies on the rotation of the valve stem to open or close the valve passage. Electric ball valves are easy to operate, compact, and can be made in large diameters. They offer reliable sealing, a simple structure, easy maintenance, and the sealing surface and ball surface are usually in a closed state, making them resistant to erosion by the medium. They are widely used across various industries.
Ball valves and globe valves belong to the same type of valves. The only difference is that the closure part of the ball valve is spherical, and it rotates around the centerline of the valve body to achieve opening and closing.
Electric V-ball valves are primarily used in pipelines for quick cutting, distribution, and changing the flow direction of media. Threaded ball valves are a new type of valve that has been widely adopted in recent years.

It boasts the following advantages:
Low fluid resistance, its drag coefficient is equal to that of a pipe section of the same length.
2. Simple structure, compact size, and light weight.
3. Tightly sealed and reliable, plastic materials are widely used for ball valve sealing surfaces, offering good sealing properties, and they are also extensively employed in vacuum systems.
4. Easy to operate, quick to open and close; it takes only a 90° rotation from fully open to fully closed, ideal for long-distance control.
5. Easy maintenance; the pneumatic ball valve has a simple structure, and the sealing rings are generally movable, making them easy to remove and replace.
6. When fully open or closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and valve seat are isolated from the medium. The medium passing through does not cause erosion of the valve sealing surface.
7. Wide application range, from a few millimeters to several meters in diameter, and from high vacuum to high pressure.
Electric ball valves are widely used in various fields such as oil, chemical industry, power generation, papermaking, atomic energy, aviation, and rocketry, as well as in people's daily lives.
Electrical V-type ball valves can be categorized by their structural type:
Float-type Electric V-Type Ball Valve
The ball of the ball valve is floating. Under the action of the medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press tightly against the sealing surface at the outlet end, ensuring a sealed outlet.
The floating pneumatic ball valve features a simple structure and good sealing properties. However, the ball bears the full load of the working medium, which is transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it's important to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used in medium and low-pressure ball valves.
