Wafer gate valves, also known as knife gate valves, are suitable for pipelines transporting mediums such as pulp with suspended particles, wastewater, coal slurry, slag cement, etc. They cut these mediums using a blade-shaped gate that can slice through fibrous materials. The valve body lacks a chamber, with the gate sliding up and down in lateral guide slots and being securely pressed against the valve seat by a protruding ear at the bottom. For higher medium sealing, an O-ring sealed valve seat can be used for double-sealing. They are available in manual, pneumatic, and electric drive types. Wafer gate valves are easy to operate, lightweight, with a smooth passage, low flow resistance, and are easy to install and dismantle. They come in nominal sizes DN50 to DN800 and can operate normally under working pressures of 0.6MPa to 1.6MPa and temperatures up to 100℃. The gates have shearing capabilities, can scrape off adhering substances on the sealing surface, and automatically clear debris. Stainless steel gates prevent sealing leakage caused by corrosion.
Function: Primarily used for emptying and discharging media from pipelines.

Applicable Media: Dust, wastewater pulp, wastewater, coal slurry, ash, sludge water, etc.

Application: Primarily used for coal selection, gangue and slag disposal in mining power plants, also applicable for wastewater treatment.
