To maintain the porosity, softness, and uniformity of thermal insulation felt over time, however, during actual use, the felt may become clogged with resin or oil stains after a period of use, causing blockages in the pores. Today, I'll introduce you to the cleaning methods for thermal insulation felt:
1. Clean off clay and paint from insulated felt using polyphosphates and similar agents.
2. Dissolve the aluminum composite on the insulating felt using hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc.
3. Add 2kg of non-ionic surfactant and 4kg of trisodium phosphate to 1000L of water at 40-50 degrees to wash 100kg of thermal insulation felt. Wash for 10-20 minutes each time. Rinse thoroughly with water to clean the resin from the thermal insulation felt.
Maintaining Insulating Felt:
1. After covering the greenhouse with frost-resistant felt, it's recommended to add a layer of waterproof membrane. This makes it easier to clear snow after a snowfall, provides rain protection during the rainy season, and can extend the lifespan of the frost-resistant felt.
2. In case of extreme cold weather that may cause thermal insulation felt and waterproof film to freeze, it is advisable to allow the sun to shine on them for a while until the ice melts, then let them dry for a period before rolling them up.
3. In case of rainy season weather, if the thermal felt is damaged and gets wet, allow it to be exposed to sunlight for some time before rolling it up, and it should be relatively dry before rolling.
4. Do not leave the thermal felt exposed to the sun when not in use. Clean the thermal felt before storing it in a dry, well-ventilated area. This ensures the insulation will still be effective for use next year.
