20# Seamless Steel Pipe is made of 20# steel, with slightly higher strength than 15#. It is rarely quenched and does not exhibit temper brittleness. It has high cold deformation plasticity and is generally used for bending, rolling, bending edges, and hammering processes. It has good welding properties for arc and contact welding, but may crack easily on thin sections or components with strict shape requirements. The machinability is better in cold drawn or normalized condition than in annealed condition, and is usually used to manufacture parts with low stress but high toughness requirements.
