Sulfur Recovery Activated Balls are suitable for refineries handling H2S acidic gas, natural gas purification desulfurization plants, city gas plants, as well as sulfur recovery processes in petrochemical and chemical plants.
Sulfur recovery activated spheres are white, spherical granules that are insoluble in water and solvents, but soluble in solutions of strong acids and alkalis. They exhibit hygroscopic properties in the air and do not swell or crack upon absorbing moisture. These belong to an improved sulfur recovery catalyst. The intrinsic activity and sulfate tolerance of the AL2O3-based catalyst in the Claus reaction, as well as its activity and stability after "mild aging" and "severe aging" treatments, are all superior to the AL2O3 catalysts currently used in industry.
