Low-temperature baked pet food ingredients are made by extruding raw materials into pet food granules at relatively low temperatures. They do not undergo the high-temperature expansion process, but instead, the raw materials are baked and sterilized in an oven at around 90°C, followed by low-temperature dehydration using a dryer.
