Shenzhen Housing and Construction Engineering Inspection Co., Ltd. is registered at No. 101, Building 3, 6283 Longgang Avenue (Henggang Section), Bao'an Community, Yuanshan Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The registration authority is the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration Bureau, and the legal representative is Li Yongjiang. The business scope includes general projects: , and permitted projects: building safety inspection and identification, structural inspection and identification, steel structure inspection and identification, on-site main structure inspection, construction project quality and material inspection, indoor environmental quality inspection of buildings, and building energy saving inspection.
The project is located in Fujian, and is a newly constructed steel structure factory under a state-owned enterprise. Although the project was recently completed, cracking on the ground was discovered during use. To assess the safety of the steel structure's main structure, on behalf of the client, our company has dispatched professional personnel for on-site inspection.
Upon on-site review of the design drawings, the cross-sectional dimensions and layout of the main structural components of the building all meet the design specifications.
The on-site inspection of nodes such as weld seams and bolt final torque strength has been conducted, and generally meets the specifications and design requirements.
The verticality of the steel columns in the building has been inspected, and it is within the permitted range of the specifications.
The coating thickness of the components has been inspected and generally meets the specification requirements. Inspection of the building's main structure for cracks revealed no visible structural cracks.
Upon inspection of the cracking on-site ground, it was found that a significant portion of the backfill soil in the building has subsided.
After comprehensive testing and analysis, it is believed that the ground cracking is primarily due to the subsidence of backfill soil. Currently, it has not caused deformation or harm to the main structure. It is only necessary to treat the backfill soil and then monitor its use.
The principal has treated the building's ground according to the conclusions and recommendations of our company's report. Currently, the building is in normal use with no abnormal phenomena observed.
The client originally planned for either comprehensive reinforcement or demolition and reconstruction of the building. Following the processing based on our company's inspection and appraisal report, millions of dollars were saved while ensuring safety.
