Lightning Protection Principle: The lightning current chaser is a non-inductive, low-impedance metallic inner conductor downlead that routes the lightning current to the ground after it is channeled, thereby preventing the protected antenna tower or building from being struck laterally or becoming charged. In most cases, the impulse of the static field cable is less than 1/10 of the tower's impedance, thus avoiding damage to the building or tower.
Live-wired, eliminates lightning strike limitations on ground lightning current intensity, reducing the hazards of counterattack and induced overvoltage for the protected equipment. Protection range is calculated according to the National Standard GB50057 using the rolling sphere method.
