PPS fiber bags are a type of dust collector bag that maintains complete strength integrity and inherent chemical resistance, allowing for excellent filtration performance in harsh environments and achieving an ideal service life. In pulse-jet cleaning dust collectors used for dust collection in coal-fired boilers, waste incinerators, and power plant fly ash, PPS filter felts are the ideal filtering material.

PPS dust bags are needle-punched felts produced from Nomex Conex, Kermel, and inorganic glass fiber. The physical properties of these fibers are significantly superior to those of inorganic fibers. PPS dust bags represent another functional fiber in the high-temperature fiber category in recent years, offering excellent properties of other fibers. They are widely used in high-temperature and harsh working conditions across various industries, including smelting, chemical industry, building materials, thermal power generation, waste incinerators, and coal-fired boilers.
PPS fiber bags perform reasonably in the following applications:
1. Operating temperature: 190°C, short-term operating temperature: 232°C, melting point: 285°C, limit oxygen index: 34-35.
2. Under industrial conditions of 190-232°C, with a gas-to-fiber ratio of 5:1 for in-line dust removal and a gas-to-fiber ratio of 6:1 for offline dust removal, PPS fiber bags have an excellent performance record.
3. Sulfur-containing fuel or sulfur oxides in flue gases, which have now been proven to be powerful fibers that resist both acidity and alkalinity, as well as chemical properties.
4. Applicable in situations with oxygen content of 15% or below.
5. Applications involving wet flue gas.
PPS Dust Collecting Bags, made from polyphenylene sulfide fiber needle-punched felts, highlight the following outstanding advantages:
1. Excellent temperature resistance: melting point 285°C, continuous use temperature 190°C, instantaneous use temperature 230°C.
2. Polysulfone fiber is superior to Nomex, Conex, and Kermel fibers in terms of resistance to acids, inorganic acids, and oxidizers.
3. The flame-retardant polycarbonate fiber has a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of 34-35, making it a non-combustible material.
In pulse-jet dust cleaning systems for dedusting in coal-fired boilers, waste incinerators, and power plant fly ash, PPS filter bags are the ideal material for filtration.
