Detailed Description
The WTF series slurry circulation pump is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump with a bracket-type structure. It is easy to maintain as it does not require dismantling the pump inlet and outlet piping when removing components such as the impeller, mechanical seal, and shaft.
2. The single volute design of the pump housing is suitable for transporting corrosive and abrasive slurry in desulfurization systems, featuring simple structure and easy maintenance.
3. The pump body, impeller, and pump cover are made of our proprietary high-chromium alloy T7, which boasts excellent wear and corrosion resistance. In the event of wear and corrosion over long-term use, they can be reprocessed to extend their lifespan.
T7 is a high-chromium alloy known for its high hardness, excellent toughness, and superior corrosion and wear resistance. It features easy passivation and contains nickel and copper elements, which further enhance the material's resistance to chloride ion corrosion and greatly improve its casting process performance. The carbon content is appropriately increased while the chromium content is slightly reduced, maintaining a suitable ratio of chromium to carbon, resulting in enhanced wear resistance.
Optional Materials: High Chrome Alloy T7, CD4MCu, 2605N, 2507, Cr30A, 1.4529, Hastelloy; also customizable according to customer requirements.
4. All transmission components feature heavy-duty construction to minimize pump vibration. The pump shaft is thickened and made of stainless steel, capable of withstanding the weight of the impeller and significant bending and torque forces, effectively extending the service life of the mechanical seal. Bearings are equipped with cylindrical roller bearings and angular contact bearings, capable of withstanding substantial radial forces, and are lubricated with grease.
5. Standardly uses single or double-end face integrated mechanical seals for easy disassembly. The impeller design includes balancing holes, ensuring adequate lubrication of the mechanical seal while preventing large particles from contacting it. The sealing surface is made of silicon carbide, which features light weight, low thermal expansion coefficient, high hardness, strong corrosion resistance, high elastic modulus, and long service life, making it particularly suitable for desulfurization conditions.
6. Equipped with an axial adjustment device, the pump's performance can be restored by adjusting the clearance between the impeller and the pump housing after the flow components experience abrasion and corrosion.
7. Comparison of Metal and Non-Metallic Materials
Rubber and high polymer non-metallic materials, with high elasticity and deformation capability, reduce wear by significantly diminishing the cutting power of particles through absorbing the impact of abrasives. They also exhibit strong resistance to the corrosiveness of chloride ions. However, as pumps for transporting desulfurization slurry, they have the following drawbacks:
1) Non-metallic materials have poor cut resistance, limited to conveying particles below 3mm, are not resistant to oil and have poor anti-swelling properties, easily hydrolyzed, and must be used at temperatures below 75°C.
2) After rubber-lining, there is significant shrinkage. The rubber-lining substrate parts are castings, and the precision of the rubber-lining interface shape and size is low, which often leads to many issues, such as sudden shutdowns during pump operation, causing the rubber-lining to fall off.
3) After rubber lining is eroded by slurry, it is prone to delamination in the pump body when a vacuum or cavitation occurs. This can lead to clogging of the spray nozzles in the absorption tower's spray layer, reducing desulfurization efficiency. In severe cases, it may result in the entire spray layer being报废.
