A screw pump is a positive displacement pump, primarily consisting of a stator and a rotor. The rotor is a screw with a large lead, high pitch, and small thread inner diameter, while the stator is an elastic sleeve with a double-threaded helix. The mating rotor and stator form sealed compartments that do not communicate with each other. As the rotor rotates within the stator, the sealed cavity moves axially from the pump's suction end to the discharge end, continuously conveying the medium from the suction to the discharge end.
