Unidirectional plastic geogrid is a soil reinforcement product made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) through plastic extrusion, punching, heating, and stretching. It is then extruded and pressed into thin plates with regular holes, followed by longitudinal stretching. It is commonly used to be laid in the soil, where it forms a stress transfer mechanism through the interlocking and bite action between the geogrid's mesh and the soil mass, allowing local loads to be rapidly and effectively diffused over a large area of soil, thereby reducing local destructive stresses and extending the service life of the engineering project.
This product is formed by extruding high polymer polymers into thin plates, punching regular holes into them, and then stretching them longitudinally. This process aligns the high polymer into a directional linear state, creating a uniformly distributed, highly node-strength, elongated oval mesh structure. This structure boasts high tensile strength and modulus, with our company's products particularly exhibiting ultra-high early-stage (elongation of 2% to 5%) tensile strength and modulus, surpassing international standards. It provides an ideal force-bearing and diffusing连锁 system for the soil. The product has a high tensile strength (>150 Mpa), adapts to various soil types, and is widely used as a reinforcing and strengthening material.
