Basic Construction: The fundamental structure of the centrifugal pump consists of six main components: impeller, pump casing, shaft, bearings, seal ring, and packing gland.
Blade Wheel
It is a critical component of centrifugal pumps, featuring high speed and great power. The blades on the impeller play a primary role. The impeller must pass a static balance test before assembly. The inner and outer surfaces of the impeller should be smooth to minimize water flow friction losses.

Pump shaft
The shaft of the pump serves to connect the motor via a coupling, transferring the motor's torque to the impeller, thus it is the primary component for transmitting mechanical energy.
Pipe Centrifugal Pump Bearing
This is a component that fits onto the pump shaft to support it, available in two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings. Rolling bearings use cow oil as the lubricant, and it should be added appropriately, typically 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume: too much can cause overheating, while too little will result in noise and heat! Sliding bearings use transparent oil as the lubricant, and should be topped up to the oil level line. Too much oil can leak along the pump shaft and be wasted, while too little can overheat the bearings, leading to damage and accidents! During the operation of the water pump, the bearing temperature should generally be around 60 degrees; if it exceeds 85 degrees, the cause should be investigated (such as the presence of impurities, if the oil has turned black, or if water has entered) and dealt with promptly!
Seal Ring
Also known as a shrouding ring. Excessive clearance between the impeller inlet and the pump casing allows water in the high-pressure area of the pump to flow into the low-pressure area through this gap, affecting the pump's discharge capacity and efficiency! Insufficient clearance can cause friction and wear between the impeller and the pump casing. To increase backflow resistance, reduce internal leakage, and extend the service life of the impeller and pump casing, a sealing ring is installed at the junction of the pump casing inner edge and the impeller outer diameter. The sealed gap should be maintained between 0.25 to 1.10 mm.
Filling Tube
Primarily composed of packing, water seal rings, packing sleeve, packing cover, and water seal pipes. The function of the packing box is mainly to seal the gap between the pump housing and the pump shaft, preventing water inside the pump from leaking out and external air from entering the pump. Maintain a vacuum inside the water pump at all times! When heat is generated due to friction between the pump shaft and the packing, the water seal pipe channels water into the water seal ring to cool the packing! Ensuring the normal operation of the water pump. Therefore, during the routine inspection of the water pump, special attention should be paid to the packing box! It is necessary to replace the packing after approximately 600 hours of operation.
Application
Vertical hot water pumps are suitable for metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, wood processing, papermaking, as well as for boiler high-temperature hot water boosting, circulation, and pressure transfer in restaurants, bathhouses, hotels, etc. They are used for urban housing heating circulation and have a working temperature below 120℃.
2. Vertical high-temperature centrifugal pumps are used for: energy, metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, papermaking, and for increasing the pressure and circulating water in hot water boilers for restaurants, bathrooms, hotels, etc. Suitable for pipeline pumps used in urban housing heating circulation, with operating temperatures below 240°C.
3. Vertical PipeChemical PumpFor conveying liquids without solid particles, corrosive, and with a viscosity similar to water, suitable for industries such as oil, chemicals, metallurgy, electricity, papermaking, food, and synthetic fibers, operating temperature range is -20℃ to 120℃.
Installation Notice
(1) The base surface of the installation must be flat, clean, and capable of supporting the corresponding load; (2) Anchor bolts must be used at points where fixation is required.
(3) For vertically installed pumps, the foundation bolts must be of sufficient strength.
(4) If vertically installed, the motor must be positioned above the pump.
(5) When mounted on the wall, ensure proper alignment and centering.
