Glass fiber yarn is an excellent inorganic non-metallic material, commonly used as reinforcing material in composites, electrical insulating material, thermal insulation material, circuit boards, and more, widely applied in various fields of the national economy.

It is produced from glass spheres or waste glass, through processes such as high-temperature melting, drawing, weaving, and fabricating. It later forms various products, with the diameter of glass fiber filaments ranging from several micrometers to over twenty micrometers, equivalent to 1/20 to 1/5 of a human hair. Each bundle of fiber yarn is composed of hundreds, even thousands of single filaments. They are commonly used as reinforcing materials in composite materials, electrical insulating materials, thermal insulation materials, circuit boards, and are widely applied across various fields of the national economy.
