Category: Cubic Quartz Powder
Keywords: Paint-Specific, Ultra-White, Ultra-Fine, High Coverage Rate
Description: Conversion rate over 90%, whiteness 98, particle size available from 325 mesh to 5000 mesh.
Fused quartz powder contains approximately 99.5% silicon, with a conversion rate of over 90%, a whiteness of 98% or above, and a crystal phase of the tetragonal system. It boasts excellent insulation, sediment resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, high-temperature resistance, good wear resistance, good fluidity, low electrical conductivity, and high impact and compressive strength. Therefore, it performs well in high-end outdoor coatings and paints.
It possesses excellent optical properties. The refractive index of feldspar quartz decreases from quartz's 1.55 to 1.48, making it closer to the refractive index of PE, PP, and some resins. The mixed resin is transparent, revealing the true color of the pigments without obscuring them. However, using other fillers would lighten and distort the pigment colors.
High reflectivity. The octahedral structure of fused quartz aids in light reflection, making it a suitable replacement for glass microbead reflective paint. It enhances both the anti-slip properties and the reflectivity of the paint.
High brightness, low density, lustrous color. The whiteness of fused quartz reaches 96%, and it can replace part of titanium dioxide in paints and lacquers, reducing the cost of the formula. It is suitable for automotive undercoats and fillers for various paints and lacquers.
Corrosion-resistant, scratch and wear-resistant.
Non-polluted with organic matter, extremely low metal content. Enhances the coating's UV resistance and possesses excellent insulation properties, suitable for encapsulation and filling in electronic products.
