Single turnout introduction: The single-actuated turnout consists of a turnout machine, switch, track, connecting parts, and a bifurcation. The turnout device is used to guide locomotives and rolling stock from the main line to a siding or from a siding back to the main line; tracks are designed to allow the wheels of locomotives and rolling stock to cross from one track to another.
The switch point consists of a pair of switch rails, a pair of base rails, a switch mechanism, and several connecting parts. Also known as a switch lever, it is composed of a switch housing, switch mechanism, pull rod, and bend rod, enabling the left and right movement of the switch rail and changing the opening direction. The switch is laid out on the side track rails and the main track rails.
