Steel-lined plastic storage tanks, also known as turtle shell-lined tanks (a combination of steel, mesh, and plastic), are the essence of the steel-plastic composite product series. They are produced using a special rotational molding process. This involves welding steel mesh (turtle shell) to the steel body surface, then using pure polyethylene (linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE, high-density polyethylene HDPE) as raw material, and combining the steel plate, steel mesh (turtle shell), and polyethylene into a single unit through rotational molding. The polyethylene adheres firmly to the steel surface. These products feature no weld seams, no leakage, non-toxicity, resistance to aging and impact, corrosion resistance, long lifespan, and compliance with hygiene standards. They address the drawbacks of plastic rotational molding tanks, such as poor rigidity and strength, lack of pressure resistance, and temperature sensitivity. The inner lining is flat, smooth, and sturdy. Compared to traditional steel-lined plastic board tanks, steel-lined rubber tanks, and steel-lined fiberglass storage tanks, they offer superior corrosion resistance, non-leakage, non-peeling, wear resistance, pressure resistance, higher temperature resistance, and a longer lifespan. They are also more affordable than traditional tanks of the same size, making them the ideal containers for storing corrosive liquids. Therefore, they are an excellent choice for corrosion-resistant storage tanks.

2. Application Scope

a. Medium: Pure water, liquid food, acids, bases, salts, and some organic solvents (resistant to certain concentrations of hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc.).

b. Temperature Resistance: -65℃ to 98℃

c. Pressure Resistance: Positive and negative pressure (including vacuum), determined by the design pressure of the steel body.
