Introduction to Air Suspension Fan Products

1.1 Performance Description

The original blower air compressor was used in a gear acceleration manner, which required gears, bearings, and lubrication systems, and mechanical friction generated significant energy loss, noise, and other issues. The suspended centrifugal blower solves these problems by using three major processes: permanent magnet bearings, permanent magnet synchronous motors and frequency conversion systems, and high-precision impellers made of aluminum alloy AL7075 (aviation aluminum) precision casting.

The Shandong air suspension centrifugal blower does not require a gearbox speed reducer or coupling, and is directly driven by a motor. It can run continuously 24 hours a day, and the motor uses a frequency converter for speed regulation. The blower impeller is directly connected to the motor, while the shaft is suspended on the active air bearing controller. Due to the lack of physical contact and lubrication system, the air suspension centrifugal blower has the characteristics of low noise, smooth operation, and long-term maintenance free.   

The Shandong air suspension centrifugal blower adopts an integrated compact design. The control panel of the impeller, motor, frequency converter, air bearing and their control system is integrated with a CPU microprocessor, which improves the convenience of installation and operation. Greatly save energy and daily maintenance costs for customers, and provide a clean working environment. So it has the characteristics of good performance, simple structure, small size, energy saving, and easy maintenance.

The Shandong blower suspension centrifugal blower uses permanent magnet bearings, direct connection technology, impeller, motor, and no additional friction. The fan automatically adjusts the consumption of motor power based on the output to maintain the efficiency of equipment operation.

No vibration and low noise

Adopting copper rotor suspension bearings and direct connection technology, there is no vibration generated, and the vibration intensity of the blower (on the machine base) is less than 2.5mm/s. The fan does not need to be equipped with sound insulation devices; The equipment is lightweight, does not require a foundation, and has simple and flexible installation and layout. When the whole machine is running, the noise (including the motor) at a distance of 1m outside the soundproof cover is less than 80db (A). The blower itself does not produce noise, it is the airflow noise of the air duct. The outlet pressure is stable and there will be no pulse phenomenon.

No lubricating oil

The fan adopts copper rotor suspension bearing technology, and the system does not require a lubricating oil system, providing clean air to industries such as electronics and food. The use temperature of air bearings reaches 600 degrees, and the drawbacks of oil-based bearing systems have been successfully solved.

No maintenance

Without the gearbox and oil bearings used in traditional fans, our series of high-tech impellers and motors do not use couplings and are directly connected to the control system. The key components are made of AL7075 (aviation aluminum), which is maintenance free and reduces maintenance costs for users, increasing the stability of the gas supply system operation.

Convenient operation control

The fan speed, pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc. can be self checked and operated at constant pressure on a personal computer, with/without load, load control, and unmanned operation can be achieved by avoiding surge control. The fan adjusts the flow rate by adjusting the speed of the impeller. Adjusting the speed can easily regulate the flow rate based on the temperature and pressure changes of the inhaled air. It can automatically and manually adjust the flow rate.

Equipment installation space

The blower equipment is lightweight, small in size, easy to install, and can save users a lot of investment in building and auxiliary electrical control systems.

parallel operation

Multiple blowers can operate in parallel. Under parallel operation conditions, each blower can provide different flow regulation requirements and maintain the same safety margin between the outlet pressure and surge pressure of each blower. The starting and stopping of a single blower will not affect the airflow changes of other blowers. When the rated load of the motor is 60, the wind pressure can meet the process requirements, and there will be no surge when multiple fans are running in parallel.

The design of the blower takes into account the synchronization of airflow, so that the newly added blower can operate in parallel with the existing blower.

Avoid surging

The blower is also equipped with a device for monitoring the surge of the blower. Three surge handling modes are available: boundary adjustment mode, shutdown mode, and continue operation mode. When the machine is set to 'continue running' mode, the surge that occurs will not have any adverse effects on the machine. When the machine is set to "stop mode" and surge occurs, the machine automatically stops for the operator to check the cause of the surge. When the machine is set to "boundary adjustment mode", the operating parameters can be adjusted to return to the normal operating range when the operating condition point of the fan is close to the surge boundary. This' boundary adjustment mode 'is a commonly used setting mode.

1.2 Main Structure Description

The blower is driven by an electric motor, single centrifugal type, and adopts axial air inlet and radial exhaust methods. It is equipped with a filtering and silencing system, an outlet diffuser, an electric motor, an outlet corrugated compensator, an outlet check valve, an outer box, a pneumatic vent valve and its silencer, an air bearing and its lubrication system, a local control system, and a main control system. The internal device structure is as follows:

1.2.1 Host

Adopting a single structure type, the configuration is complete, and the air volume of each blower can be adjusted.

1.2.2 High precision impeller

 

The impeller is made of AL7075 (aviation aluminum material), precision machined by a 5-axis machine tool, and undergoes strict testing. The impeller is directly connected to the electric motor. The impeller has sufficient strength and stiffness, with a safety margin of 1.2 under the stress conditions of rotational speed operation.

Material: AL7075 (aviation aluminum) has deformation resistance.

Connection method: The impeller is directly connected to the motor;

The shaft is made of titanium metal material, and the impeller efficiency can reach 92;  

The impeller has been in use for over 30 years.

The frequency conversion mode should be "AC-DC-AC".

Surface precision machining ensures a tight connection between the impeller and shaft, with sufficient interference fit between the impeller and shaft under operating conditions. The impeller is well aligned and easy to assemble and disassemble. Conduct static and dynamic balance tests on the impeller. The axial clearance between the impeller and the blower casing can be adjusted through gaskets.

1.2.3 Permanent magnet motor

   

Each blower is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous direct coupled motor, with a motor power greater than 10% of the load value within the entire design operating range. To avoid the influence of harmonics, the motor will not overload at various operating points of the blower.

The motor casing is made of aluminum alloy material. The motor is suitable for a power supply of 380V, 3-phase, 50Hz, with a frequency conversion mode of "AC-DC-AC".

The motor is installed on the frame through elastic fasteners. The motor should have thermal protection function.

1.2.4 Inverter

Select a low-noise, low vibration, and soft operated variable frequency speed control system to achieve the regulation of air volume and pressure, while maintaining the efficiency of the blower throughout the entire working range (meeting standards when deviating from design conditions, operating at low temperatures, high temperatures, and low pressures).

The frequency converter should achieve stepless frequency regulation of air volume and pressure, while keeping the blower running throughout the entire working range, with a control efficiency of over 97.

Using a specialized frequency converter, the performance is relatively stable
