The bonding surface must be cleaned with a 50% acetone solution, and after the surface is completely dry, apply the primer/adhesive evenly using a brush (without any fiber shedding) to the bonding area. The coating thickness should be 0.05MM. For EPDM gaskets, apply the primer twice back and forth to break the surface release agent. The tape can be applied only after the primer has dried.

GY-918 primer is a light brown transparent liquid. It is a adhesive applied to the surface of the material before bonding to enhance adhesive performance. When it reacts with water molecules in the air, it generates high bonding strength and has high-temperature resistance. Particularly when used with 3M acrylic foam tape, it achieves excellent adhesive effects.

Application Guide (How to Use Adhesive Aid?)

Prepare bonding surface · Clean the bonding surface with a cloth dipped in 50% isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or toluene, ensuring no fibers are shed.

2. Operation · Shake the bottle containing the primer vigorously before use. · Apply the primer evenly to the bonding surface using a brush or roller (without fiber shedding), with a coat thickness of generally 2~4u.

3. Drying Time - The drying time varies generally with temperature, humidity, and coating thickness. - Normal drying time: 3 minutes to half an hour - Good drying time: 5 to 10 minutes (Temperature: 23°C, Humidity: 65%) - Pay attention to ensure the coating surface is not contaminated during this period.

4. Apply double-sided tape by sticking it to the dried coating surface and applying pressure.

Cautionary Notes:

·1. Primer is a chemically active substance, so only the daily (8-hour) amount should be used at a time, with the remainder kept sealed for storage.

·2. The operating environment should have good ventilation and be kept clean.·3. Operating environment must be smoke-free; this product is flammable and should be kept away from fire sources.

Note: This product is manufactured using the same 3M process.94 primer substitute, not OEM.

Cautionary Notes:

1. Please conduct a small-scale test to check for any chemical reactions between this product and the material to be coated. However, rest assured that it does not react chemically with surfaces like car paint, plastic, glass, or metal.

2. This product is a volatile GY-918 base adhesive. Therefore, always ensure proper sealing when in use, ideally, tightly close the bottle immediately after removing the brush. After use, always tighten the cap!!

3、This product has an initial粘iness. However, it is not to be used as adhesive alone; it must be used in conjunction with tape. It enhances the bonding power of the tape.

4. This product is not a cleaning fluid; do not use it incorrectly. Not suitable for children! Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If accidental contact occurs, wash immediately with water.

5、Make sure to wait for the surface to dry completely after applying the undercoat before sticking the tape; otherwise, it may not adhere properly. Remember! Remember!!
