The tape undercoating agent GY-918 is primarily used as a surface treatment for adhering tapes to surfaces like rubber, plastic, and metal. It is specifically designed to address the unique inertness of rubber surfaces, which are difficult to bond with standard double-sided tapes. Surfaces treated with this rubber undercoating agent can securely adhere to double-sided tapes.
Instructions for Use:
Clean the area to be粘贴 thoroughly, ensuring it is free of dust, moisture, and oil stains. It is recommended to wipe with alcohol or high-concentration白酒.
2. Unscrew the bottle cap with the brush. Do not soak the brush with too much liquid.
3. Due to the product's volatility, please ensure the bottle cap is tightly sealed after removing the brush.
4. Apply the base coating with a brush to the area where you need to attach the item. Let it dry for 5-10 minutes before sticking.
5. Peel the tape and apply it to the desired adhesive spot.
6. Roll a small roller over both sides to ensure a tighter bond.
Cautionary Notes:
Before applying, please conduct a small-scale test to ensure this product does not react chemically with the material to be applied. However, it does not produce any chemical reaction on surfaces such as car paint, plastic, glass, and metal; feel free to use it.
2. This product is a volatile GY-918 primer, so please ensure proper sealing when in use. After removing the brush, immediately tighten the cap of the bottle. After use, tighten the lid securely!!
3. The product has an inherent stickiness when in its initial state.
4. This product is not a cleaning liquid; do not use it incorrectly. Not suitable for children! Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with water.
5. This product does not act as glue and cannot be used alone; it must be paired with tape.
