Instructions for Using Sealed Plastic Drums

Filling

Remove the lid and insert a tube with an outer diameter smaller than the sealing diameter for filling.

2. The filling liquid temperature should not exceed 50 degrees. After the filling liquid cools to room temperature, tighten the outer cap. If there is an inner cap, press it down first.

3. To ensure the tight seal of the drum mouth, it is recommended to tighten the drum cap with a torque wrench; different sealing materials require different torques, so please consult our customer service department for the required torque.

Stacking and Storage

1. Buckets filled with goods are stacked on double-sided flat trays, with a maximum of 3 layers per tray. The upper and lower buckets should be aligned to ensure proper installation of the locating components; the number of buckets stacked per layer depends on the size of the tray.

2. Buckets stacked on pallets are secured with stretch wrap packaging, and the stacked layers of the pallet should not exceed two layers. When pallets with buckets are stacked at height, the upper and lower layers should align to evenly distribute the weight of the upper layer onto the lower layer. The ground at the storage area should be level.

3. Barrels should be stored under a shade canopy to prevent direct sunlight exposure, with storage temperatures below 40°C and above -18°C.

Loading and shipping

When transporting hazardous materials over long distances:

1) Use pallets for stacking. The dimensions of the pallets must not exceed 1.3 meters, and the edges of the drums must not overhang the edges of the pallets.

2) Containers should be loaded into containers or vehicles. When stacking, ensure the layers are aligned vertically to prevent tilting and unstable stacking. The containers or vehicles should have rigid walls and fences at least as tall as the containers to prevent the buckets from toppling over.

2. Chemical Compatibility Confirmation: Confirm the chemical compatibility between the filling liquid and the container and sealing material during use. If there are any doubts about compatibility, please conduct a test; feel free to call for consultation. We are not responsible for any compatibility issues caused by our internal liquid filling without prior confirmation.

User Instructions

1. When labeling, it is essential to prevent any liquid from spilling out and harming the operator.

2. Before twisting the cap, check if the seal is properly installed and not loose; when tightening, align the threads to avoid incorrect threading or thread slippage causing leakage at the bucket opening.
