IBC drums or used drums are primarily made from 4570 UV high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or 644 low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). The 200kg drums are odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic granular products. They offer excellent heat and cold resistance, hardness, tensile strength, electrical insulation properties, and toughness, as well as good chemical stability. They are almost insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature and resistant to corrosion from various acids, alkalis, and salt solutions. They also exhibit superior resistance to environmental stress cracking and thermal stress cracking, high surface hardness, and good dimensional stability.
The steel used in the frame is processed by automatic bending equipment, and both the frame and the tray are designed with specific patented technology. The structure of the frame and tray is reasonable and reliable, featuring good anti-fall and heavy-duty container stacking performance, meeting the transportation requirements for category two hazardous chemicals.
The container is equipped with adjustable ball valves for easy and reliable drainage. The valve body is made of high-density polyethylene, with the ball made of polypropylene, offering excellent chemical compatibility. The valve seal is made from EPDM rubber, with options for other materials such as ETFE, polyethylene, and nitrile rubber. The valve outlet thread is a standard S606 thread, and adapters are provided for user selection, allowing the outlet thread S606 to be converted to American fine thread 2” NPS and quick connectors, meeting the user's special requirements for discharge.
