Spiral pipe, also known as spiral steel pipe or spiral-welded pipe, is produced by rolling strips of low-carbon structural steel or low-alloy structural steel into a billet with a specific helical angle (referred to as the forming angle), and then welding the pipe seam. This method allows for the production of large-diameter steel pipes using narrower strips of steel.
