Reducer, also known as elbow, unequal pipe, or reducer tee. One of the chemical industry fittings, used for connecting pipes of two different diameters. Divided into two types according to shape: concentric reducer and eccentric reducer. Material options include stainless steel reducers (304, 304L, 316, 316L), alloy steel, carbon steel reducers, with materials such as No. 20 steel, Q235, Q345, 16Mn, etc.
Standard sizes, both domestic and international (Chinese, US, British standards), as well as various non-standard products.
Reduced Sockets (Reduced Bends) are pipe fittings used for different pipe diameters. Common forming processes include re-diameter extrusion, expansion extrusion, or a combination of both. For certain sizes of reduced bends, stamping forming can also be used. Reduction/Expansion Forming: The reduction forming process for reduced sockets involves placing a pipe blank with a diameter equal to the socket's large end into a forming die, then pressing along the blank's axial direction to cause the metal to move within the die cavity and shrink into shape. Depending on the size of the diameter change in the reduced bend, it can be formed in one or multiple steps. Stamping Forming: In addition to using steel pipes as raw material for producing reduced sockets, stamping forming can be employed for certain sizes using steel plates. The shape of the stamping die used for stretching is designed based on the internal surface dimensions of the reduced socket, and the steel plate is then stamped and stretched into shape using the die.
