Reducers, also known as elbows, tees, or unequal Tee, are one type of chemical pipeline fitting used for connecting pipes of different diameters. They are classified into two types based on shape: concentric and eccentric reducers. The materials for reducers include stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L), alloy steel, carbon steel reducers, and materials such as 20# steel, Q235, Q345, 16Mn, etc.
Fittings in standard sizes, including GB, ANSI, BS, and various non-standard products.
Reduced Bends (Eccentric Reducers) are pipe fittings used for varying pipe diameters. Common forming processes include reducing and expanding, or a combination of both, and for certain sizes, stamping can be used. The reduction and expansion forming of reduced bends involves placing a pipe blank with a diameter equal to the larger end of the bend into a forming die, where it is pressed along the blank's axial direction, causing the metal to move within the die cavity and form a reduction. Depending on the size of the bend's diameter change, it can be formed in a single or multiple pressing steps. Stamping Process In addition to using steel pipes as raw material for producing reduced bends, stamping can be employed for certain sizes using steel plates. The shape of the stamping die used for stretching is designed based on the internal surface dimensions of the reduced bend, and the steel plate is stamped and stretched into shape using the die.
