Reducers, also known as elbows, transition fittings, or unequal tees, are one type of chemical pipeline fitting used for connecting pipes of two different diameters. They are categorized into concentric reducers and eccentric reducers based on their shapes. Materials for reducers include stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L), alloy steel, carbon steel, and options like 20# steel, Q235, Q345, 16Mn, etc.
Male/female adapters, standard GB, ASME, BS, as well as various non-standard products.
Elbows (reducing tees) are pipe fittings used to connect pipes of different diameters. The commonly used forming processes include reducing extrusion, expanding extrusion, or a combination of both. For certain sizes of elbows, stamping forming can also be employed. Reducing/Expanding Forming: The reducing forming process for elbows involves placing a tube blank with a diameter equal to that of the large end of the elbow into a forming die, then pressing along the tube blank's axial direction to allow the metal to move and contract within the die cavity. The forming is classified into single-step or multi-step based on the degree of diameter change. Stamping Forming: In addition to using steel pipes as raw material for manufacturing elbows, stamping forming processes can be used to produce elbows of certain sizes using steel plates. The shape of the stamping die used for stretching is designed according to the inner surface dimensions of the elbow, and the steel plate is stamped and stretched into the final shape using the die.
