GRP septic tanks are used in industrial living quarters and urban residential communities as domestic wastewater purification and treatment equipment. They temporarily store excrement, allowing for preliminary decomposition within the tank to reduce the solid content in the discharged wastewater.
1. Backfilling must meet construction specification requirements. A clean-out well (inspection well) can be constructed on the pool, which comes in two types: brick-lined wells and prefabricated reinforced concrete wells.

To prevent leakage in brick-lined manholes, it is required to apply a waterproof mortar coating on both the inner and outer walls of the manhole, with a thickness of 20mm (1:2 waterproof mortar, with 5% of the waterproofing agent by weight of cement), and to apply a 45-degree slope at the inside corners. For a sloping surface, the thickness should be 50mm. In the presence of groundwater, apply two coats of hot asphalt (or other waterproofing coating) to the outer wall of the manhole, followed by backfilling to the ground level specifications.

Stones in the backfill soil should be removed, and the backfill should be compacted layer by layer, with each layer compacted to a thickness of 30mm. It is recommended to use manual compaction, and it is crucial to avoid local forceful impacts during backfilling (such as with air compactors), ensuring the surrounding backfill soil is densely packed.
