The叠板闸，also known as the叠板闸门, or叠板阀, is a structure that uses multiple individual闸板, which are placed horizontally into the door channel one by one to form a flat water-blocking structure. The叠板闸 has a simple structure, is lightweight, requires minimal lifting force, and is easy to transport. However, due to the sealing between闸板 relying on their own weight, the overall integrity of the water-blocking structure is poor, and the water-tightness is not as good as with steel gates, resulting in slightly higher leakage. Therefore, the叠板闸 is suitable for use as temporary water-blocking or maintenance gates. There are two types of叠板闸 gates: the standard type and the type with a pre-tensioning device.
Gate with pre-tensioning device, equipped with a sliding track on the door groove, each gate leaf is smoothly lowered along the track, preventing misalignment of the stacked beams. Additionally, on both sides of the upstream of the stacked beam gate, a pre-tensioning device is installed to ensure a tight fit between the stacked beams and the door groove, enhancing water-sealing effectiveness. Practice has proven that the stacked beam gate with pre-tensioning device significantly reduces water leakage compared to the standard type.
