As a manufacturer of ductile iron manhole covers, the key during the production process should be anti-theft. How can ductile iron covers be made anti-theft?
1. Security materials
;There are many materials used for manhole covers, and many new users may not be familiar with ductile iron. Can it also prevent theft? The answer is yes. As the current ductile iron manhole covers differ from the original cast iron material, the existing material incorporates spherical materials, making the covers with spherical materials non-recyclable.
Steel demand has surged, leading to a rebound in steel prices. The total decrease amounts to 8.956 million tons, a decrease of 38.73%. However, it's worth noting that the pace of steel inventory digestion in the society has slowed down significantly last week. To make up for the significant GDP decline in the first quarter, according to data from Lang Steel Cloud Merchant, as of May 29, 2020, the social inventory of 29 key cities on the Lang Steel website was 14.171 million tons, down 550,000 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 3.76%. Under the backdrop of a sharp increase in demand, the decrease was 790,000 tons, a decrease of 5.09% from the previous week. The increase reached 41%. Given the current rate of inventory decrease, it will be challenging to digest the inventory in the short term. The daily crude steel production, which is only 24,600 tons lower than the historical high in mid-September 2019, has been on a continuous rise for five consecutive weeks since early April.
But in 2019, with high mineral prices, the export profit of high-grade minerals increased. Since 2016, the export volume of high-grade minerals has significantly risen. Consequently, several Indian states have implemented restrictions on the production and transportation of iron ore. Currently, port operations have returned to normal, but vessels arriving from elsewhere must undergo a strict 14-day quarantine before entering the anchorage in Indian ports for operations, which has affected port efficiency. Due to the stagnation in automotive, real estate, and infrastructure construction, steel demand in India has sharply declined in the first quarter. As India announces an increase in infrastructure investment, this move could boost steel demand. The net export volume of Indian iron ore may further increase, and attention should be given to changes in Indian iron ore exports. With the global spread of pneumonia, the outbreak in the third wave, represented by India and Brazil, has brought significant uncertainty to the production and transportation of iron ore. As countries like India enter city lockdowns, there is considerable hindrance to the production and transportation of iron ore, but due to the high degree of automation in mining operations, the impact is mitigated.
