Spiral pipe features: The production process of longitudinal seam welding pipes is simple, with high efficiency, low cost, and rapid development. The strength of spiral seam pipes is generally higher than that of longitudinal seam pipes, allowing for the production of larger diameter pipes with narrower billets. Additionally, pipes of different diameters can be produced with the same width billets. However, compared to pipes of the same length with longitudinal seams, the weld length increases by 30~99%, and the production speed is slower. Therefore, smaller diameter pipes mostly use longitudinal welding, while larger diameter pipes generally employ spiral welding.
