The acoustic sounding tube, in addition to serving as a detection channel and replacing part of the steel reinforcement section, can also be used as a pipeline for grouting at the pile bottom. Tests have proven that piles treated with grouting at the pile bottom can significantly enhance their bearing capacity. Additionally, the acoustic sounding tube can also be used as a pipeline for washing and grouting treatment of accident piles, at which point measures must be taken to penetrate the pipeline at the defect areas requiring grouting.
Ultrasonic transmission method inspection, the overall requirements for the sound measurement tube are: joints must be secure and not come loose, sealed without leakage; the tube wall must be smooth and undamaged, even without deformation; the tube body must be vertical without tilting; and the interior must be clear without any foreign objects.
Poor material or installation of the sound wave probe may lead to accidents such as leakage, pipeline blockage, fracture, bending, sinking, and deformation, significantly affecting the ultrasonic pulse-echo method for pile foundation integrity testing, and may even render the ultrasonic pulse-echo method inapplicable.
