Acoustic wave pipes, in addition to serving as detection channels and replacing part of the steel reinforcement cross-section, can also be used as pipes for grouting at the pile bottom. Tests have proven that灌注桩 treated with grouting at the pile bottom can significantly enhance their bearing capacity. Furthermore, the acoustic wave pipes can also be used as conduits for cleaning and grouting treatment of accident pile defects. In this case, measures must be taken to penetrate the pipes at the defect areas requiring grouting.
Ultrasonic transmission method inspection, the overall requirements for the sound measurement tube are: joints must be secure and not come loose, sealed without leakage; the tube wall should be smooth and undamaged, straight and without deformation; the tube body should be vertical without tilting; and the interior should be clear of any foreign objects.
When the material or installation process of the sound wave probe is poor, it may lead to accidents such as leakage, pipe blockage, breakage, bending, sinking, and deformation, which have a significant impact on the ultrasonic transmission method for pile foundation integrity testing, and may even render the ultrasonic transmission method inapplicable.
