Acoustic survey pipes, in addition to serving as detection channels and replacing part of the steel reinforcement cross-section, can also be used as pipelines for grouting at the pile bottom. Tests have proven that piles treated with grouting at the bottom can significantly enhance their bearing capacity. Moreover, the acoustic survey pipes can also be utilized as pipelines for washing and grouting treatment of accident piles, at which point measures must be taken to penetrate the pipeline at the defect areas requiring grouting.
Ultrasonic transmission method inspection, the overall requirements for the sound transmission tube are: joints must be secure and not come loose, sealed and not leak slurry; the tube wall must be smooth and not bent, even and without deformation; the tube body must be vertical and not tilted; and the interior must be clear of any foreign objects.
Poor material or installation of the sound testing pipe may lead to accidents such as leakage, pipe blockage, breakage, bending, sinking, and deformation, significantly affecting the ultrasonic pulse-echo method for pile foundation integrity testing, and may even render the method inapplicable.
