Geotextiles are divided into two types: non-woven geotextiles and woven geotextiles.

Nonwoven geotextiles are available in needle-punched and hydroentangled varieties, as well as short and long fiber types.

Non-woven fabric refers to materials that do not require weaving in the manufacturing process.

Engineering fabrics refer to materials used in construction projects. A portion of these fabrics can be produced without weaving, which is known as non-woven geotextiles.

Nonwoven materials have a wide range of applications. For instance, the Hessian wet wipes we use are made of nonwoven, as are the shoe polish cloths found in hotels.
