Direct-connection screw-type gate valves are suitable for small reservoirs, river channel reconstruction, and other small-scale water conservancy projects. They are easy to install, convenient to use, flexible in operation, reliable in performance, and have a long service life.
The installation quality of the direct-connection screw-type valve actuators affects their performance and lifespan; users must pay close attention. Before installing the valve actuators, please carefully inspect the construction quality and ensure there are no errors before connecting and testing them. Before the official operation, pay attention to the following matters:
One: Clean the surface dirt and dust; add lubricating oil to all lubrication points.
Ensure the machine and gate are concentric during installation; the error should not exceed 5mm.
Three, after the machine is installed, run it under no-load condition for two full cycles to check for any anomalies.
Four, during the trial run, first elevate 100mm, check for any deformation in all components, the sliding condition of the gate in the groove, and only proceed with further elevation after confirming everything is correct. Conduct a check again every 0.5m.
The principle of screw-type shutter:
A mechanical device that connects directly to the gate leaf or through guide sliders and rods, using a threaded rod to move up and down to open and close the gate.
The screw shaft is supported within the bearing nut, which is fixed to the support frame along with the drive mechanism (bevel gear drive or worm gear drive). Power is supplied or the drive mechanism is manually rotated using a hand crank, causing the bearing nut to rotate, thereby lifting or lowering the screw shaft to open or close the gate. The screw shaft is a compression and tension member; when a downward force is required to lower the gate, the stability of the pressure rod must be calculated.
