Waterstop steel sheet (waterstop plate) refers to a steel sheet embedded 300mm x 3m during the pouring of lower concrete layers, with 10-15cm exposed above. This portion of the steel sheet is poured into the concrete during the subsequent pour, serving to prevent external water pressure from渗入. As a result, the waterstop steel sheet requires high-quality welding joints without any leaks to ensure the waterproofing performance.
1. Strive to position the waterstop steel plate along the centerline of the wall.
2. The welding between the two steel plates must be full and double-sided, with the overlap of the steel plates not less than 20mm.
3. Wall corner treatment: 1. Full steel plate bending; 2. T-shaped welding; 3. 7-shaped welding.
4. Support welding for waterstop steel plates can be done by spot welding small steel bars onto the main bars.
5. When the waterstop steel plate passes through the column stirrups, the stirrups can be cut to form an open stirrup, which is then welded onto the steel plate.
6. The "opening" of the waterstop steel plate faces the upstream side.
