Wood grain paint
Wood grain paint is composed of wood grain base paint and wood grain top coat. The wood grain base paint determines the overall color, while the wood grain top coat, in conjunction with specialized wood grain tools, creates the wood grain effect. I. Product Features:
This product is a water-based artistic paint with excellent performance, odorless, non-toxic, and pollution-free. It features strong film adhesion, flame retardancy, resistance to abrasion, and is acid and alkali-resistant, with no fading. It boasts strong adhesion, resistance to abrasion, and is not prone to fading. Different tools and techniques can create various wood grain patterns with seamless, crack-free, and peel-free finishes. The colors can be freely matched.
II. Subgrade Treatment: 1) Cement Concrete Surface a. The base must have sufficient strength, free of loose, peeling, scaling, and powdery phenomena, and must be clean with no debris or floating dust. b. The base must be fully dried, with moisture content <10%. c. The base's pH value must be <10. d. Maintain the flatness of the base.
2) Steel structure surface
1. Steel structure or metal surface treatment method: First, sandpaper is used for sanding, followed by the application of epoxy resin or gray epoxy zinc phosphate primer. 2. Each step of the base surface treatment must be sanded with sandpaper to maintain the flatness of the base.
Wood grain paint, also known as仿木纹artistic coating, employs professional techniques to hand-pull a natural-looking imitation wood effect through the matching of paint colors. It can be freely switched for different scenarios and is widely used on metal materials such as steel structures, square steel, stainless steel, galvanized pipes, aluminum channels, etc. It is also suitable for presenting wood grain effects on pergolas, pavilions, railings, garages, billboards, doors and windows, and concrete wall surfaces! It can maintain its appearance for 8 to 15 years outdoors, without fading, peeling, or cracking!
Wood grain paint is non-cracking, non-flaking, and resistant to fading. Put simply, "as long as the base is solid and doesn't peel off, the wood grain paint won't come off." Causes of detachment in the application of concrete wood grain paint include: 1. Poor handling of concrete pouring and form removal, leading to internal leakage; 2. The putty was applied only once or lacks waterproofing, the correct procedure is to apply and dry the putty twice before sanding it smooth with fine sandpaper; 3. No sealing primer was applied. The sealing primer, also known as alkali-resistant primer, serves to prevent moisture, humidity, and alkali reaction. Many people assume that wood grain paint comes with a primer, so they skip this step, but that's actually a big mistake.
Improper application of wood grain paint on concrete walls leads to peeling. To repair, remove the peeled areas completely, sand the surface with coarse sandpaper, brush off the dust, and let it dry. Then, apply new putty, sand it smooth, and repaint with wood grain paint. Wood grain paint applied to concrete turns the original lime plaster wall into one with the texture of wood, serving both decorative and protective purposes for the interior structure. It offers many advantages, such as excellent UV absorption properties, heat-insulating features, environmental friendliness without organic volatile compounds, and excellent waterproofing. It can present various artistic wood grain patterns that are free from joints, peeling, and cracking, with easy wiping and cleaning, a fine finish, long-lasting color, and a smooth, shiny appearance.
Wood grain paint is a water-based coating, and the colored primer, wood grain topcoat, and high-gloss finishing coat of wood grain paint all require dilution with water (not exceeding 20%); water should be added gradually to prevent over-dilution and waste of paint. Pay attention to the application details of wood grain paint, such as maintaining a working environment temperature of 5~40℃ and relative humidity below 85%; construction should be halted in adverse weather conditions. Also, avoid direct wind and sunlight during the application process for natural drying. The surface drying time of the wood grain primer is 2 hours, while full drying takes 12 hours, and it should be fully dried before applying the topcoat. With the emphasis on eco-friendliness in today's life, activities that harm the ecological environment are strictly prohibited. For ecological considerations, many people no longer use solid wood as the basic material for decoration. Instead, the lattice structures and guardrails commonly seen on the market with the original "wood grain patterns" are actually painted with this wood grain paint. Although the process seems simple, there are many details involved, and each step in the application of wood grain paint must be strictly adhered to. Since wood grain paint is often used on metal materials such as stainless steel, galvanized pipes, aluminum alloy, iron pipes, etc., anti-rust treatment must be done on the base material surface. For materials prone to rust, surface grinding is required to remove rust spots and impurities, followed by treatment of焊接 joints, and then the application of an epoxy zinc-rich primer.
Wood grain paint is a water-based artistic coating with superior performance, odorless, non-toxic, non-polluting, strong film adhesion, flame-retardant, wear-resistant, and colorfast. It presents various wood grain artistic patterns, which are free, delicate, seamless, non-peeling, and non-cracking. The base and face colors can be freely matched, and the patterns can be arbitrarily created.
