Description

Permeable concrete is a paving material developed and used by countries such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and others to address the deficiencies in the surfaces of original urban roads. Construction

The construction of permeable concrete mainly includes spreading, shaping, surface treatment, and joint treatment. Spreading can be done mechanically or manually; shaping can be carried out using flat vibrators, vibratory leveling rollers, manual push-pull rollers, and vibratory leveling beams; surface treatment is primarily to enhance the visual appeal, involving repairs or cleaning of the shaped permeable concrete surface; the joints in permeable concrete pavements are set up similarly to those in normal concrete, with contraction joints spaced evenly, not exceeding 6 meters in distance.

Maintenance

After permeable concrete construction, cover and maintain it for at least 7 days to keep it moist. Prevent the concrete surface pores from being polluted by mud and sand during maintenance. Daily maintenance includes regular sweeping and cleaning of pores that have been sealed. Cleaning sealed pores can be done using methods such as blowing with a fan, high-pressure washing, or vacuum sweeping.
