The central oxygen supply equipment is an upgraded product of traditional oxygen supply equipment, and it is also the result of its development. It integrates the originally dispersed gas sources to form a central gas source for supplying oxygen to patients in the entire hospital. Central oxygen supply equipment refers not only to a single gas source, but also to a series of devices such as pipelines and output terminals. The function of pipelines is to transport oxygen from the gas source to various rooms that may use oxygen. When needed, simply connect the output terminal to the pipeline.
There are mainly three types of gas sources for central oxygen supply equipment: oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen tanks, or combined oxygen supply. Generally, hospitals use one or two methods to ensure sufficient oxygen supply and meet the needs of various periods. The central oxygen supply equipment is mainly used in medium and large hospitals to ensure oxygen supply for surgical and critically ill patients.
The main characteristics are as follows:
1. The oxygen supply method in the oxygen supply station can choose one or a combination of three methods: medical oxygen concentrator, liquid oxygen storage tank, and manifold oxygen supply.
2. The oxygen busbar system is equipped with an oxygen under pressure sound and light alarm device, and can achieve automatic or manual switching of oxygen supply.
3. The oxygen pressure stabilization box adopts a dual channel design to ensure the continuity of oxygen supply in each ward.
4. Each nurse station in each ward is equipped with a ward monitoring meter, which automatically monitors the oxygen supply pressure and usage in each medical ward, providing a basis for hospital cost accounting.
5. The oxygen delivery pipeline adopts oxygen free copper pipes or stainless steel pipes that have been degreased, and the connecting accessories are all made of oxygen products.
